Hi everyone I’m back in LA now and we’re already a couple of matches into the new season. We won our opening match against Seattle 1-0, which was a hard-fought victory in Seattle in front of a passionate crowd who certainly know and love their football, all in all a great win.
Our first home match saw us draw 1-1 with New England in very heavy rain, it was pretty tough conditions although we created quite a few chances and unfortunately had a few goals disallowed, but it wasn’t to be on the day.
Four points from our opening two games isn’t a bad return though and there have been plenty of encouraging signs on the pitch and the team are gelling well, which bodes well for the rest of the season.
I’d also like to thank everyone for the messages of support after we announced that we were expecting a baby girl, as you can imagine the family can’t wait and we’re all really excited.
This weekend I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for the England v Wales score in Cardiff ahead of our match at Utah, fingers crossed for two away wins.
