i see you are using an old mac for your mac hd icon, too! where did you get yours? the one on mine i've had saved for a long time but i haven't found larger versions of these.
and also: are we not able to change things like the "downloads" icon in the dock at all? i can change all of the other ones but i haven't gotten it to work for that one. i didn't have any trouble with documents or the trash so i didn't think there would be a problem with downloads. x.x

But what exactly is your response to the fact that iOS as a platform has more users - therefore is more enticing to developers? And that Android is just a free OS that's modified and put on to phone handsets, mostly HORRID handsets, and many that can't even run an app? This is the very reason why I think that Apple's policy should be reconsidered. Why would content providers such as the Financial Times be compelled to offer their content on iOS, when Apple requires them to (additionally) use the in-app purchases by which the providers lose the advantage of using their own register and keeping the entire revenue, without having to share it with Apple. The position of the Financial Times is completely understandable, regardless of what kind of business decisions the provider makes. It still doubt whether the true motive of Apple to enforce this measure is not consumer protection but receiving profits from the content of others.
Why should people who just want to read the news be compelled to provide the FT with personal information in order to do so? Why does the FT need to know my name, address, phone number, etc.?

It's been said a hundred times...the auction title does NOT say it's an auction for a photo, and it is not listed in the correct category. Ebay even specifically gives an option to report an item that is miscategorized (in active auctions) or misrepresented (completed auctions). It's a violation of their terms, legal or otherwise.
And to the person earlier who tried to argue that many things are bought and sold in the wrong categories, this is true. However, those auctions were most likely not created with ill intent, solely for the purpose of hoping someone doesn't propey read the auction description.

My battery live is much worse since the recent upgrade. Around 25% less battery life. No jailbreak here.
It might be Apple trying to screw us up and make us want to upgrade to iphone 5. I remember I had the iphone 3G and with its latest "upgrade" my phone took a shiat bigtime. There wasnt even a way to downgrade the upgrade.

There's just no reason for some people to be alive after what they've done.
There is one - I see no reason that we should kill them.
I'm perfectly satisfied with locking criminals away for the rest of their natural lives for the mot heinous crimes. I don't see a compelling reason for us citizens to kill criminals through the state. That isn't justice. That is revenge, or blood lust. It's barbaric.

Eh, people are reading the data completely wrong. The iPhone 4 dropped on Verizon in mid to late February and had 2.2mil activations by the end of the quarter (roughly 6-7 weeks later), at & t had it for roughly six weeks (almost double the time of Verizon) and only managed 3.6 mil activations. Verizon is activating MORE iPhones than AT&T at a faster rate, including the 3GS deal.
Im trying to figure out why media sites keep getting this so hopelessly wrong. This device sold 2 million+ units being a ten month old product in SIX WEEKS. Do you realize that that is nearly 15% of the lifetime sales of the most successful line of android phones (the galaxy s) in six weeks? If that's bad then **** according to this logic android is really ****ed.
I think you've got it wrong. Verizon's miss per this and the other reports I've seen is versus Apple & Verizon's expectations and plans. Nothing in this story mentions head to head sales, etc.
